Announcing HLX002: ‘Sahul Swerves’ by Dixia Sirong.

We warmly welcome Dixia Sirong to the Helix catalogue for our sophomore release of 2023.

Meaning Velvet Underground in Chinese, the French duo pays tribute to the club in Singapore where they first discovered their love for the deeper side of house music.

Since then, many years of music production allowed them to sculpt their eclectic inspired sound, between sharp bass grooves and wavy textured dubs. Constantly trying to evolve and explore the various realms of electronic music, the pair has released a string of EPs on Recordeep, Sentaku, Berg Audio and more recently, Chicago house legend Chez Damier’s label Inner Balance.

We hope you enjoy HLX002.

Helix acknowledge the traditional of the land on which this music was released, the Wurundjeri of the Kulin nation. We would like to pay respects to elders past, present and emerging.
